THE MODEL LANGUAGE
Nexus Script
Describe the relationships, too.
Nexus Script describes structured information and the relationships that give it meaning. Define something once, refer to it elsewhere, compose variations, and select the definitions appropriate to a particular situation.
Reuse without flattening the model
References connect information. Composition builds effective definitions from shared contributors. Targets select applicable variations. These are distinct tools for expressing a model, rather than independent copies of each configuration.
A language with a vocabulary for your domain
A dialect defines the permitted structure and constraints. A consumer gives that model behavior. Nexus Build and Nexus Forge use Nexus Script for their own domains; the language itself does not turn every definition into an action.
Work with the model
The existing infrastructure provides compiled and Live models, validation, JSON and SQLite artifacts, and Mustache-based output. Start with the language guide before choosing an integration.

Work with the language in Nexus Code
Nexus Code brings compiler-backed Nexus Script diagnostics, completion, navigation, rename, and formatting into VS Code. The same language describes build and automation models; Nexus Gear application controls are authored in Lua.
